Brenda has worked in education for nearly 50 years in a variety of roles and capacities working in schools and educational settings and as a Local Authority Officer in five Local Authorities in England and Scotland. She is currently still employed part time by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council in their Children’s’ Services Directorate, in their Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Team.
Brenda has been involved with local politics in Calderdale for many years and was elected to serve the residents of Brighouse in 2022. She has served on the Scrutiny Board for Children and Young People since being elected, and is now serving on the Health and Wellbeing Board.
